This 1909-11 T206 Ambrose Puttman has been graded SGC 3 VG. Distributed in cigarette packs between 1909 and 1911, the T206 "White Border" set remains one of the cornerstones of vintage baseball collecting. At SGC 3 VG, it presents a clear image with moderate wear consistent with its age, a well-balanced choice for collectors assembling the set in mid-grade. The front features lithographed artwork framed by the set's signature white border.
Ambrose Puttman played during the Deadball Era, when tobacco cards like T206 brought ballplayers into the homes of fans across the country. Cards of lesser-known subjects such as Puttman are key pieces for anyone working toward a complete T206 set.
