This 1909-11 T206 Ed Reagan has been graded SGC 1 PR and carries an Old Mill back. Old Mill backs are closely associated with the set's Southern League subjects and are seen far less often than Piedmont or Sweet Caporal. The T206 "White Border" set, distributed by the American Tobacco Company, is one of the most celebrated pre-war issues in the hobby. The SGC 1 PR grade reflects heavy handling, yet the card remains a genuine, authenticated piece of pre-war baseball history and a practical way to fill a spot in the set.
Ed Reagan is part of the deep roster of Deadball Era players featured in T206, alongside stars like Honus Wagner, Ty Cobb, and Christy Mathewson. Collectors chasing the complete set need every subject, which makes cards of players like Reagan key to any complete run.
