This 1909-11 T206 Larry Doyle Portrait has been graded SGC 2 GD. Known among collectors as The Monster, the T206 tobacco set features more than 500 cards and remains the most celebrated pre-war baseball issue. This survivor from the dead-ball era is a solid addition for set builders and anyone collecting original early twentieth-century baseball cardboard. The SGC holder protects the card and makes it simple to display.
Larry Doyle, known as Laughing Larry, was the second baseman for John McGraw's New York Giants. He won the 1912 Chalmers Award as the National League's most valuable player and the 1915 National League batting title.
