This 1909-11 T206 Lee Tannehill has earned an SGC 4.5 VG-EX+ grade. T206 is the most famous tobacco card set ever produced, and solid mid-grade examples with clean eye appeal are a classic entry point for pre-war collectors and T206 set builders who build by player.
Lee Tannehill was a dead-ball era infielder for the Chicago White Sox who appears in the T206 set, which documented hundreds of major and minor league players of the period. The set has been studied by collectors for more than a century, and pre-war cards of players like Tannehill remain essential for collectors completing this iconic issue.
