This 1909-11 T206 Bud Sharpe has been graded SGC 4.5 VGEX+ and carries a Piedmont back. The T206 "White Border" set, distributed by the American Tobacco Company, is one of the most celebrated pre-war issues in the hobby. At SGC 4.5 VGEX+, it ranks among the stronger mid-grade examples of the set, with a clean image and wear limited mostly to the corners.
Bud Sharpe is part of the deep roster of Deadball Era players featured in T206, alongside stars like Honus Wagner, Ty Cobb, and Christy Mathewson. Collectors chasing the complete set need every subject, which makes cards of players like Sharpe key to any complete run.
