This 1978 Topps Pete Maravich #80 has earned a PSA 8 NM-MT grade. This card from Pistol Pete’s New Orleans Jazz years is a strong, high-grade vintage piece. Vintage 1970s Topps basketball cards are scarce in high grade, making this a strong piece for collectors of the era.
Pete Maravich set the NCAA career scoring record at LSU before the Atlanta Hawks selected him 3rd overall in the 1970 NBA Draft. Known for his flashy ball-handling, he won the 1977 scoring title with the New Orleans Jazz, earned five All-Star selections, and finished with the Boston Celtics. Maravich is a Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame (HOF) inductee (1987).
