This 1989 Perez-Steele Celebration Postcard Lou Boudreau has earned a PSA 10 Gem Mint grade with a signature graded PSA/DNA 10. Perez-Steele postcards were produced in limited numbers for Hall of Famers to sign, and this dual-10 example of the 1948 AL MVP is a premium piece for Cleveland collectors.
Lou Boudreau spent most of his career as the Cleveland Indians’ shortstop, winning the 1944 batting title and earning seven All-Star selections. As player-manager in 1948, he won the AL MVP and led Cleveland to the World Series championship. Boudreau is a National Baseball Hall of Fame (HOF) inductee (1970).
