Gary Payton starred at Oregon State before the Seattle SuperSonics selected him 2nd overall in the 1990 NBA Draft. Known as the Glove, he won the 1996 Defensive Player of the Year award and earned nine All-Star selections in Seattle, later playing for the Bucks, Lakers, and Celtics before winning the 2006 NBA championship with Miami.
