This 2018 Panini Contenders Red Zone Sam Darnold Rookie Ticket Auto #103A has earned a BGS 9.5 Gem Mint grade. Contenders Rookie Tickets are among the most collected autograph designs in football, and the Red Zone version is a scarcer parallel from Darnold’s rookie season.
Sam Darnold starred at USC before the New York Jets selected him 3rd overall in the 2018 NFL Draft. He later played for the Carolina Panthers and San Francisco 49ers before a breakout season with the Minnesota Vikings in which he earned a Pro Bowl selection, then continued his career with the Seattle Seahawks. His career resurgence made him one of the NFL’s most notable comeback stories.
