This 2022 Pokémon Korean Playing Cards Paper Safari Onix #9 has earned a CGC 10 Pristine grade, the top mark on the CGC scale. These officially licensed playing cards were produced for the Korean market and are rarely seen graded in the U.S., which makes a CGC 10 Pristine example a distinctive piece for Pokémon collectors looking beyond the standard trading card game.
Onix is the Rock/Ground-type rock snake Pokémon from the original Kanto games, famously used by Gym Leader Brock. It later gained an evolution, Steelix, in Pokémon Gold and Silver, and remains one of the most recognizable Generation I designs.
