Top 50 Bowman Chrome Rookie Auto Cards in 2020

Bowman Chrome Autograph cards are considered the most popular and sought after types of baseball cards in the sports card industry. These cards are considered prospect autograph cards of players, meaning they are created while the player is still a prospect or in the minor leagues. First year Bowman Chrome Autos are what a lot of buyers or collectors target because these types of cards have the biggest potential to increase in value the most. There is many Bowman Chrome autograph cards of players that feature a number of different color variations and print runs. I am going to focus primarily on base Bowman Chrome Autos that you should be buying heading into the start of the 2020 season. Each year many players Bowman Chrome Autos explode in value this list will help you guide on what to expect this season.

1 – 2013 Bowman Chrome Aaron Judge Rookie Auto 

Judge is easily regarded as one of the most popular players in all of baseball. He is now entering his age 28 season and this will be his fourth big league season. Considering the mega star that Judge is and playing in a huge market with the Yankees there is still a ton of upside on his 2013 Bowman Chrome Auto on both ungraded examples and high-grade examples. One thing to learn from is trends from past seasons and Judge’s Bowman Chrome Auto last year began to explode in value starting in Spring Training reaching arguably its highest value ever. I am expecting the same to happen this year and projecting Judge’s Bowman Chrome Auto graded in a PSA 10 to receive a 62-87 percent increase. There is just 39 PSA 10 graded examples as of February 2020. Investing in a BGS 9.5/10 is also a great option as well because I would expect a 29-44 percent increase depending on the sub-grades. Perhaps ungraded versions may also be the best bang for your buck because those could easily see a 75-100 percent increase as well. Invest in Judgie with confidence! All Rise!

2 – 2010 Bowman Chrome Christian Yelich Rookie Auto

Yelich is coming off one of his best seasons of his career in 2019 and could have very easily won back-to-back NL MVP awards had he not been injured late in the year. Yelich’s 2010 Bowman Chrome Auto is very tough to obtain in high-grade examples. 2010 Bowman Chrome Autos are known for being off-centered and have many surface scratches. I am expecting a 42 percent increase on Yelich’s Bowman Chrome Auto graded a BGS 9.5/10. This is a card that still has plenty of room to grow considering how low the BGS Pop Report is. Investing in a ungraded one could pay off as well, as long as you get one that looks mint as I would expect those to see a 53 percent increase. PSA 10’s are Yelich are very hard to find, as there is only 32 graded examples as of February 2020 according to the PSA Population Report. Yelich is easily one of the NL MVP favorites again this season in 2020.

3 - 2014 Bowman Chrome Mookie Betts Rookie Auto

Mookie was just traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers and this trade immediately sparked his Bowman Chrome Auto to increase in value with a 25 percent increase on a BGS 9.5/10 example. Betts is entering his free agent season and poised for a monster season. I would expect his Bowman Chrome Auto to continually trend up in value a lot more throughout this season. Last season around this time, his Bowman Chrome Auto was still a lot higher than it is right now because he was coming off a MVP and World Series Championship with the Red Sox in 2018. PSA 10 examples recently have jumped 29 percent and it would not shock me if there were another 29 percent increase on his PSA 10 examples by seasons end. Will Betts have a 30/30 season? Many baseball experts are projecting him to receive a 12-year 400 million contract following his 2020 season. Betts ranks second in WAR overall the last four seasons only behind Mike Trout.

4- 2011 Bowman Chrome Francisco Lindor Rookie Auto

Lindor is still one of the more underrated superstar players in the MLB. He is entering his age 26 season in 2020 and already put up some great seasons. Since the beginning of the off-season, he has been rumored in many trade offers. Lindor only has two more years of team control with the Cleveland Indians before he can become a free agent. I would expect Lindor to be on the move near the trade deadline this July. Invest with confidence on Lindor’s Bowman Chrome Auto because he is easily one of the best shortstops in baseball and his Chrome Auto will only continually trend up in value more throughout this season especially if he gets traded to a World Series contender. His Chrome Auto is very tough to find in a PSA 10 example as there is just 57 examples on the PSA Population Report as of February 2020. Look for Lindor’s PSA 10 Bowman Chrome Auto to see a 30 percent increase in value this season with other raw examples and BGS 9.5 examples not too far behind!

5 – 2011 Bowman Chrome Javier Baez Rookie Auto

Baez is entering his age 27 season and many players throughout the course of their careers have monster seasons at that age in baseball. Since 2018, Baez has been a completely different player and has been regarded as one of the most exciting and dynamic players in the MLB. I would project a 40 percent increase on Baez’s BGS 9.5/10 Bowman Chrome Auto because I think there is still plenty of room for his Chrome Auto to increase in value throughout this season. I could also see ungraded examples receiving a 60 percent increase because those are even more underrated right now compared to high-graded examples. There is only 33 PSA 10 examples as of February 2020 of Baez’s Bowman Chrome Auto, which makes this a difficult card to find. I would expect PSA 10 examples to reach a 60+ percent increase throughout this season.

6 - 2012 Bowman Chrome Joey Gallo Rookie Auto 

Joey Gallo was having a monster 2019 season last year until a wrist injury cut his season short. Many baseball experts said he looked like a completely different player hitting the ball to all fields and making the adjustments using his hands more with his swing. Gallo has the potential to hit 45+ homeruns this season to go along with a 260 plus average and is only entering his age 26 season. His Bowman Chrome Auto graded in a PSA 10 may be difficult to find before the season starts because there is only 28 examples as of February 2020 according to the PSA Population Report. I would expect as high of a 42 percent increase on Gallo’s PSA 10 Bowman Chrome Auto this season. Investing in a BGS 9.5/10 example could also pay off as well; I am projecting those to reach a 40 percent increase as well. Gallo’s Bowman Chrome Auto ungraded has already begun to see a 40 percent increase within the past couple of months this off-season. He is one of my favorite investments this season in 2020. Pico de Gallo!

7 – 2013 Bowman Chrome Austin Meadows Rookie Auto

Meadows is coming off his breakout season in 2019 where he hit 33 home runs, 89 RBIs while batting .291 and a 922 OPS. He is entering his age 25 season and his Bowman Chrome Auto is very undervalued still especially for a player coming off a big year. I would expect a 50-75 percent increase on Meadows Bowman Chrome Auto in a high-grade example like a BGS 9.5/10. He’s beginning to trend up like a lot players as the season gets closer to starting so the sooner you can invest in him the better! There is just 27 PSA 10 graded examples as of February 2020 and they are a lot higher in comparison to his BGS 9.5/10. The BGS 9.5/10 is the much better value buy right now in my opinion. The Rays should also easily contend for a playoff spot again this year which will only help Meadows value more.

8 – 2015 Bowman Chrome Ozzie Albies Rookie Auto

Albies is one of the premier second baseman in baseball and still only 23 years old. His Bowman Chrome Auto still has a lot of upside to trend up in value in 2020. If investing in ungraded examples make sure to buy an autograph that is a clean example with no streaks or breaks because a lot of Albies Bowman Chrome Autos were streaky and as a result the value is affected on those examples. Albies Bowman Chrome Auto ungraded should see a 85-100 percent increase in value this season. High-graded examples of Albies also have a lot upside and those should also see a similar result. Albies could very well become the best second baseman in baseball during the 2020 season.

9 – 2012 Bowman Chrome David Dahl Rookie Auto 

Dahl was having his best season of his career last year in 2019 until an injury cut his season short. He is now entering his age 26 season and is one of the more underrated buys this off-season. There is just 27 PSA 10 graded examples according to the PSA Population Report as of February 2020. I would expect a 150 percentage increase on Dahl’s day as this is a card that is a great buy low right now. Investing in an ungraded example is also a low risk with a ton of upside as they should also see a 100 percent increase in value this season.

10 – 2011 Bowman Chrome Bryce Harper Rookie Auto

Harper signed a massive contract with the Philadelphia Phillies last year and as a result, his Bowman Chrome Auto was one of the most sought after cards to begin the baseball season last year. One year later Harper’s Bowman Chrome Auto has been nearly cut in half from a year ago. Since Harper’s value has dropped so much from a year ago right now is a great time to invest in him before the season starts. Many baseball experts are projecting Harper to have a big year and the Phillies should also be much improved. I would expect Harpers Bowman Chrome Auto graded a BGS 9.5/10 example to receive a 42 percent increase in value. Harper’s PSA 10 Chrome Auto is a lot more sought after compared to his BGS 9.5/10 as I have seen them be anywhere from $250-350 higher in overall value. I would expect a 25 percent increase on Harpers Bowman Chrome Auto ungraded too with possible more upside. Look for one with a bold signature if buying ungraded.

11 – 2013 Bowman Chrome Matt Olson Rookie Auto

Olson had his best season of his career last year in 2019 and is now entering his age 26 season. He is considered one of the premier power hitting first baseman in all of baseball and his Bowman Chrome Auto is still very undervalued and obtainable for many buyers or collectors. Olson’s Bowman Chrome Auto is a great "buy low" and is even a candidate for a "buy in bulk" strategy since his ungraded examples could easily see upwards to a 75-100 percent increase in value. I would also expect a similar result in a BGS 9.5/10 example. PSA 10 examples will be difficult to find, as there is just 56 total graded examples as of February 2020, but I would expect those to also see a 75 percent increase as well.

12 – 2014 Bowman Chrome Ketel Marte Rookie Auto

Marte had his best season of his career last year in 2019, this was due to change in launch angle on his swing. He batted 329 with 32 homeruns and 92 RBIs with the D-Backs. Marte is now entering his age 26 seasons and will be primarily play second base with the D-Backs. His Bowman Chrome Auto is still very obtainable especially for a player coming off a monster year last season. Marte’s Bowman Chrome Auto ungraded should see a 57 percent increase in value from now and throughout the season. There is just 31 PSA 10 graded examples according to the Population Report as of February 2020 and these should see a 52 percent increase in value as well. Can Marte put up similar numbers this year in 2020?

13 – 2005 Bowman Chrome Justin Verlander Rookie Auto

Verlander continues to dominant late into his career and won the A.L. Cy Young award in 2019. His Bowman Chrome Auto is still very obtainable and will only continue trend up in value in both the short-term and long-term. I would expect a 60-75 percent increase in ungraded or 9/10 examples. High-grade examples like BGS 9.5/10 or PSA 10s are tough to find and rarely become available for sale. Verlander is already a lock to be a future Hall of Famer and as he achieves more records and accolades in the coming years this card will only become more sought after. If there were one pitcher in a Bowman Chrome Auto that I would buy, Verlander’s would be the first!

14 – 2013 Bowman Chrome Tim Anderson Rookie Auto 

Anderson won the A.L. batting title last year in 2019, his average was 335. He is now entering his age 27 season and could have another big year. The White Sox are one of the most improved teams in 2020 and considering Anderson won the batting title last year you would think his Bowman Chrome Auto would be a lot higher than it is right now. Anderson is one of the best buy low candidates this season and so cheap ungraded that it is a great buy in bulk card too. I am projecting his Bowman Chrome auto ungraded to see a 100 percent increase in value this season. High-grade examples should also see a 40 percent increase as well. Do the White Sox make the playoffs this season?

15 – 2014 Bowman Chrome Jack Flaherty Rookie Auto 

Flaherty was the best pitcher in baseball the second half of last season in 2019. He posted career highs in ERA, strikeouts and quality starts. Flaherty is entering his age 24 season and will look to build on the great second half he had in 2019. He is already considered one of the best pitchers in all of baseball and his Bowman Chrome Auto is still very obtainable for both collectors and buyers. I would expect a 70 percent increase in value on ungraded examples. High-grade examples are a lot more difficult to find and buy. His Bowman Chrome Auto featured in a PSA 10 has Population Report of just 42 examples as of February 2020. Flaherty is one of the favorites to win the N.L. Cy Young award in 2020.

16 – 2013 Bowman Chrome Lucas Giolito Rookie Auto

Giolito had his first breakout season in 2019 with the White Sox and is now regarded as their ace. He is entering his age 25 season and his Bowman Chrome Auto still has a ton of upside to continue to go up in value. I would expect an 80 percent increase in ungraded examples this season. Giolito’s BGS 9.5/10 examples should also see about a 62 percent increase in value as well. PSA 10 examples will become a little tougher to find, as there is just 51 examples according to the PSA Population Report as of February 2020.

17 – 2011 Bowman Chrome Blake Snell Rookie Auto

Snell struggled with injuries in 2019 but in 2018, he was the A.L. Cy Young award winner. He still had an outstanding strikeout per 9 innings ratio in 2019 so that tells me he still has elite stuff. Snell is a great buy low candidate right now in ungraded examples and high-grade examples, a lot of buyers and collectors have sort of forgotten about him and now is the time to invest! Snell is only entering his age 27 season in 2020 and I would expect him to bounce back in a big way. His Bowman Chrome Auto ungraded should see as high of a percentage increase of 62 percent. Snell’s Bowman Chrome Auto last year around this time was very sought after. High-grade examples will be difficult to find from now until the start of the season but those are also good short-term and long-term investments as well.

18 – 2010 Bowman Chrome Gary Sanchez Rookie Auto

Sanchez is the best hitting catcher in baseball, the last two seasons he has struggled to stay healthy but last year he was still able to put up a 30+ home run season. He started red hot last year and his Bowman Chrome Auto reached its highest value since his debut during his rookie season in 2016. Investing in a Sanchez Bowman Chrome Auto ungraded can be tough because 2010 stuff is condition sensitive. Many 2010 Chrome Autos are off-centered or have surface problems so investing in PSA 9 or BGS 9s is a better option than ungraded copies. Sanchez’s Bowman Chrome Auto in a high-grade example like a BGS 9.5/10 or PSA 10 is highly sought after. I am projecting PSA 9s or BGS 9s or ungraded versions will see a 50 percent increase like last year. There is still a lot of upside with Sanchez as he enters his age 27 season with the Yankees.

19 – 2019 Bowman Chrome Dustin May Rookie Auto 

May made his 2019 debut with the Dodgers last year but still qualifies for a rookie in 2020. He is a great buy and hold right now since most likely he will begin the year in Triple A, but look for May to make a big impact in the Dodgers rotation at some point this year. Considering he is one of the best young pitching prospects in baseball, his Bowman Chrome Auto ungraded is still very obtainable. I would expect an 80 percent increase on ungraded examples. PSA 10 examples should also see a 42 percent increase. There is 86 graded 10 examples according to the PSA Population Report as of February 2020.

20 – 2011 Bowman Chrome George Springer Rookie Auto 

Springer had his best season last year in 2019. Many Astros hitters have dropped in value as a result of the sign-stealing controversy. I think ultimately it will blow over and Springer is expected to have a big year in 2020 especially because he is entering his free agent season. His Bowman Chrome Auto is very affordable right now and should see a 60 percent increase in value this season. I would expect Springer to new sign with a new team during the off-season in 2021 so investing in his card will pay off in the short-term and long-term. High-grade examples like PSA 10 or BGS 9.5/10s are a little tougher to obtain on this card but investing in ungraded examples is a great option.

21 – 2011 Bowman Chrome J.D. Martinez Rookie Auto 

Martinez is starting to build a Hall of Fame career and is now entering his age 32 season in 2020. Considering that Martinez is one of the elite hitters in baseball his Bowman Chrome Auto is still very obtainable compared to other star players. I would expect an 87 percent increase on Martinez’s Bowman Chrome Auto ungraded. Look for one that has a clean signature (meaning no breaks or streaks in the auto). PSA 10 examples are also very undervalued as there is only 60 in existence according to the POP Report as of February 2020. I would expect a 50 percent increase on them as well with a lot more upside, as well as BGS 9.5/10 examples being around the same expected increase in value. Martinez can opt out again after the 2020 season and he is primed for another big 2020 season.

22 - 2018 Bowman Chrome Sheldon Neuse Rookie Auto

Neuse received a brief call up with the Oakland A’s last season in 2019 and played mostly at second base. The A’s are always finding players that become impactful big league players and Neuse I believe is next. Last season in the minors, Neuse hit 27 homeruns before being called up. Now is the time to invest in Neuse while no one is thinking of buying him, as he is only 25 years old should make a big impact with his bat with the A’s in 2020. Look for Neuse to become the A’s primary second baseman at some point this season. His Bowman Chrome Auto has the potential to receive a 300 percent increase this season because right now his is wicked cheap at the start of the season. This is a low risk high reward type of investment buying Neuse’s Bowman Chrome Auto. Neuse will have to win the starting job in Spring Training for this investment to pay off.

23 – 2013 Bowman Chrome Jose Berrios Rookie Auto

Berrios is the ace of the Twins rotation, he is entering his age 26 season in 2020. He has elite stuff and one of the more underrated Bowman Chrome Autos available heading into the start of the season. His Bowman Chrome Auto ungraded is very obtainable compared to other ace pitchers. I would expect ungraded examples to see a 100 percent increase in value this season. High-graded examples are tougher to find and should also see an increase in value this season. Berrios is still only 26 years old and still has a lot of upside.

24 – 2016 Bowman Chrome Garrett Hampson Rookie Auto

Hampson was a rookie last year with the Rockies who played multiple different positions in the field. He has shown flashes of being a potential five-tool player and this could be the year he breaks out. Hampson is a great buy low right now before the season and cheap enough ungraded that this is a great option for a buy in bulk. Ungraded examples should see a 85-100 percent increase in value. Be patient with Hampson and wait until he receives a lot of playing time in 2020. High-grade examples are only a little bit more then ungraded versions and those have even a lot more upside considering how cheap they are before the season.

25 – 2016 Bowman Chrome Nolan Jones Rookie Auto

If there is one prospect who I am investing in this pre-season it is Nolan Jones. He is ranked in the 40 range on multiple Top Prospect 2020 lists this pre-season. Jones is projected to receive the call to the majors in 2020 and has a ton of upside. He is the top of prospect that can easily hit 30 homers a season and will have a good on-base percentage as well. Invest in Jones now before he breaks out in the minors this season and receives a call up to the Indians. I would expect Jones’s Bowman Chrome Auto ungraded to see a possible 77 percent increase in value this year. PSA 10 examples should also see a 66 percent increase in value as there is only 178 graded 10 examples according to the Population Report as of February 2020.

26 – 2018 Bowman Chrome Carter Kieboom Rookie Auto

Kieboom debuted last year with the Nationals, he is now projected to take over for Anthony Rendon at third base this season. He will be fighting for the starting third base job this spring. Kieboom is only 22 years old and has a ton of potential. He is rated as the 21^st best prospect overall still heading into the 2020 season. I would expect his card ungraded to receive a 70 percent increase this year with a lot of upside. High-grade examples should also see a 50-75 percent increase in value. Kieboom is a sneaky pick to win the 2020 NL Rookie of the Year award this season.

27 – 2014 Bowman Chrome Aristides Aquino Rookie Auto

 Aquino set the MLB record for 12 homeruns in his first career eight games last year in 2019 with the Reds. His Bowman Chrome Auto in August last year exploded in value and heading into the start of the season in 2020 his card is a lot more obtainable. Aquino has plenty of upside to go up in value and is one of the better younger players in the MLB. Look for his Bowman Chrome Auto to reach a 35 percent increase in value on both ungraded and high-graded examples. There is only 33 PSA 10 graded examples according to the Population Report as of February 2020.

28 - 2017 Bowman Chrome Luis Castillo Mega Mojr Refractor Rookie Auto

 This card is regarded as Castillo’s first Bowman Chrome Auto, which is a limited short printed autograph. Castillo’s Bowman Chrome Auto is starting to become a lot tougher to find. Since these are so limited and Castillo is an early NL Cy Young favorite this year I would expect a 50 percent increase in value on ungraded examples. High-grade examples will be a lot tougher to obtain but those also do have a lot of upside as well. Many baseball experts say that Castillo has the best fastball/changeup combination in baseball.

29 – 2016 Bowman Chrome Willie Calhoun Rookie Auto 

Calhoun debuted with the Texas Rangers as a rookie last year and showed a lot of potential. Many baseball experts are projecting Calhoun for a 30+ homerun season in 2020. His Bowman Chrome Auto ungraded is very affordable heading into the 2020 especially ungraded examples. Calhoun is another buy in bulk candidate since he is so cheap and has a lot of upside. Ungraded examples should easily see 80-100 percent increase in value. High-grade examples are beginning to trend up a lot quicker at the start of spring training but those could see a similar increase in value as well.

30 – 2012 Bowman Chrome Joc Pederson Rookie Auto 

Pederson is projected to be the starting left fielder with the Dodgers in 2020. He hit a career high 36 homeruns last season, heading into the start of the 2020 season his Bowman Chrome Auto is at an all-time low in value. Investing in Pederson’s Bowman Chrome Auto ungraded is very obtainable right now and is considered a great buy low with a lot of upside. The Dodgers are expected to make to the World Series and Pederson should easily have another big season this year. I would expect a 100 percent increase in value on his Bowman Chrome Auto ungraded. High-grade examples are a lot more sought after so investing in ungraded examples is your best bet.

31 – 2011 Bowman Chrome Brandon Nimmo Rookie Auto

 Nimmo is projected to bat leadoff and be the starting center fielder for the New York Mets this season in 2020. He is a great buy low right now and in fact so cheap that he is very affordable in both ungraded and high-grade examples. Nimmo should have no problem being to replicate his 2018 numbers with the Mets and as a result, his Bowman Chrome Auto should see a 50-75 percent increase in value on both ungraded and graded examples. There is only 17 PSA 10 graded examples according to the Population Report as of February 2020.

32 – 2017 Bowman Chrome Sixto Sanchez Rookie Auto

 Sanchez is now on the Miami Marlins and still rated as the 22 prospect overall heading into the start of the 2020 season. His Bowman Chrome Auto is very obtainable compared to other top pitching prospects like Michael Kopech, Nate Pearson, Casey Mize, Mackenzie Gore and others. Sanchez could get to the majors this year and as a result, his Bowman Chrome Auto should see an immediate increase in value. Many other top pitching prospects are already trending up in value heading into spring training and Sanchez’s Chrome Auto will follow. I would expect a 80-100 percent increase in value on both ungraded examples and high-grade examples. He is a great buy low especially in ungraded examples.

33 – 2015 Bowman Chrome Trent Grisham Rookie Auto

Grisham’s Chrome Auto is actually labeled as Trent Clark, which some people may not be aware of still. He played well last year with the Brewers while filling in for the injured Christian Yelich late in the year. This off-season he was traded to the San Diego Padres and is their projected starting center fielder. Grisham has all the tools to have a good season in 2020. He is flying way under the radar for a player who is only 23 years old with a lot of upside. Grisham’s Bowman Chrome Auto could easily see an 80-100 percent increase in value on both ungraded and high-graded examples.

34 – 2016 Bowman Chrome Willson Contreras Rookie Auto 

Contreras is considered one of the elite catchers in the MLB and is now entering his age 28 season. Considering that Contreras is a top catcher in baseball, his Bowman Chrome Auto is very undervalued. Ungraded examples are very obtainable heading into the start of the 2020 season. His Bowman Chrome Auto ungraded should see an 80 percent increase in value along with high-grade examples seeing a similar result. This is one of the safer buys out there amongst many of the Bowman Chrome Autos in a similar price range.

35 – 2014 Bowman Chrome Aaron Nola Rookie Auto

 Nola is entering his age 27 season and is the Phillies ace in 2020. He had a solid year in 2019 but his 2018 was his best year thus far in his career. Many baseball experts are projecting him to fully bounce back this year in 2020 and as a result, his Bowman Chrome Auto should see an increase in value. Ungraded examples should see a 75 percent increase in value. High-grade examples will be tougher to obtain heading into the start of the 2020 season.

36 – 2015 Bowman Chrome Gio Urshela Rookie Auto 

Urshela was one of the biggest surprises during the 2019 baseball season. He became the starting third baseman for the Yankees and was one of the best stories of the year. Urshela’s Bowman Chrome Auto has been all over the board throughout this off-season, which will allow a lot of buyers or collectors to get a good buy on his card heading into the start of the season. Urshela still has a lot of upside this season as his Bowman Chrome Auto on ungraded examples could still easily see a 60-80 percent increase this season.

37 – 2014 Bowman Chrome Josh Hader Rookie Auto 

If there is one relief pitcher that I am investing in its Josh Hader. Most baseball experts would agree that Hader is considered one of the top closers in baseball. Hader is now entering his age 26 season, and he has the upside to put up another historic season. Hader’s Bowman Chrome Auto heading into the 2020 season sometimes sells for a similar value ungraded versus high-graded examples. This means that there is still an uncertainty as to what to pay for Hader. Investing in Hader’s PSA 10 is a great short-term and long-term investment. There is just 39 PSA 10 graded examples according to the Population Report as of February 2020. Hader’s Bowman Chrome Auto should see a 100 percent increase in value on both ungraded and graded examples.

38 – 2010 Bowman Chrome Max Kepler Rookie Auto 

Kepler had his best season of his career in 2019 thus far posting a career high 36 homeruns and 90 RBI’s. Kepler’s 2010 Bowman Chrome Auto is tough to find in good condition ungraded as many of them are condition sensitive, a few examples would be centering or surface scratches. High-grade examples are very tough to find of Kepler so ungraded examples are your best bet. His card should replicate where it was last year and reach a 100+ increase in value again this season. Now is the time to invest in Kepler before he gets red hot again in season.

39 – 2015 Bowman Chrome Luis Severino Rookie 

Severino was injured the majority of the 2019 season but had his breakout year in 2018. He is now the number 2 on the Yankees and entering his age 26 season in 2020. Severino’s Bowman Chrome Auto ungraded still has plenty of upside to go up in value and should regain the value of where they were in 2018. His Bowman Chrome Auto ungraded should see a 50-75 percent increase in value in 2020. High-graded examples have already begun to trend way up in value heading into the start of the spring training. Severino does have a minor injury in spring training which could allow you to get a good buy on his card within the next couple of weeks. He could miss the start of the year but should be back long enough to make an impact. Investing in an ungraded example is a much better option versus high-grade example.

40 – 2014 Bowman Chrome Jeff McNeil Auto

McNeil had a breakout year with the Mets last year in 2019 and in 2020 is projected to be the everyday third baseman. McNeil was in contention for the NL batting title for the majority of last year and as a result, his Bowman Chrome Auto was highly sought after. His Bowman Chrome Auto should reach a similar value this year and see an increase of 70 percent. McNeil’s Bowman Chrome Auto in high-grade examples is already beginning to trend up in value so investing in ungraded examples is your best bet.

41 – 2014 Bowman Chrome Julio Urias Rookie Auto

Urias has been regarded as a top pitching prospect with the Dodgers for a number seasons. He began to show potential last year and he is still only 23 years old. Many baseball experts are projecting Urias to be a breakout pitcher this season and remain in the Dodgers rotation. His Bowman Chrome Auto has a lot of upside to go up in value if you are able to find one heading into the start of the season. Look for Urias’s Bowman Chrome Auto to see a 50 percent increase or more this season. His card could be a great buy low on especially ungraded examples. High-grade examples will be a lot more difficult to obtain.

42 – 2012 Bowman Chrome Eddie Rosario Rookie Auto 

Rosario was an under the radar buy heading into the start of 2019 and the same applies this year for 2020. He had career highs in homers last season with 32 homers and 109 RBI’s. The Twins are favored to win the AL Central again this year and Rosario’s Bowman Chrome Auto should see a big bump in value. Ungraded examples are inexpensive as these are a great buy in bulk candidate because they are so cheap with a lot of upside. I expected ungraded examples to see a 100+ increase in value especially if Rosario starts out hot. BGS 9.5/10 examples are also very obtainable and those should see a similar result of value increase, PSA 10’s however are a little tougher to obtain because there is only 19 examples according to the Population Report as of February 2020.

43 – 2010 Bowman Chrome D.J. LeMahieu Rookie Auto 

LeMahieu had a monster season with the Yankees in 2019, and as a result, his Bowman Chrome Auto reached an all-time high in value. He is now heading into his free agent season with the Yankees in 2020 and turns 32 years old this summer. His Bowman Chrome Auto is very obtainable still heading into the start of the 2020 season, which is surprising considering he had a huge season in 2019. I project D.J. to have another big season with the Yankees and see ungraded examples of his card seeing a 100+ percent increase in value. High-grade examples are a lot more sought after because there is only a limited number examples on both PSA 10’s and BGS 9.5/10s.

44 – 2010 Bowman Chrome Manny Machado Rookie Auto 

Machado’s Bowman Chrome Auto has come way down in value then where it was a couple of years ago. During the 2019 season, he hit for the lowest average of his career but still showed plenty of power. Machado is a great bounce back candidate this season and already on a Hall of Fame path. Considering he is a star player, there is still plenty of upside for his Bowman Chrome Auto to increase back in value. He is entering his age 27 season and many players have their best season of their career at that age. I would expect an increase of value of 50 percent or higher on ungraded examples of Machado’s Chrome Auto. BGS 9.5/10 examples should also see a similar increase in value.

45 – 2015 Bowman Chrome Austin Riley Rookie Auto

Riley debuted in his rookie season with the Braves last year in 2019. He started off hot hitting homeruns often but then quickly slumped towards the end of the season. This season he is projected to be the Braves starting third baseman, he is still only 23 years old but could take the next step and improve a lot in 2020. A lot of baseball experts still love his power potential and upside. Ungraded examples should see a 50-65 percent increase this year in 2020 especially if Riley is able to get hot again like at the start of debut last year. High-grade examples should also see a similar result of an increase in value.

46 – 2013 Bowman Chrome Jose Peraza Rookie Auto

Peraza joined the Boston Red Sox in 2020 and is projected to possibly be their starting second baseman. He is the ultimate buy low and a very low risk investment with sneaky good upside. In fact, Peraza’s Bowman Chrome Auto is so cheap that you can even get a color of him for a similar amount of his base. Everyone is always trying to find an unknown player to invest in that could have a good year and Peraza may very well just be that player in 2020. His Bowman Chrome Auto has the potential see a possible 150-300 percent increase in value.

47 – 2011 Bowman Chrome Aaron Hicks Rookie Auto

Hicks is projected to miss the first half of the 2020 season with the Yankees. Keep an eye on buying his Bowman Chrome Auto the next couple of months before he comes back and here is why. Hicks is the regular starting center fielder for the Yankees, and considering he’s on a very popular team that’s favored to win the World Series makes his card worth buying. His Bowman Chrome Auto is very affordable and the prices could even drop more before he comes back. Both ungraded and graded examples should double in value from now until Hicks comes back the second half of the season. There is just 20 graded PSA 10 examples of his Bowman Chrome Auto according to the PSA Population Report.

48 – 2013 Bowman Chrome Oscar Mercado Rookie Auto

Mercado debuted as a rookie with the Cleveland Indians last year. He is the projected starting center fielder for the Indians and has the potential to get a lot better in 2020. Mercado’s Bowman Chrome Auto is a great low investment that could easily see a 100 percent increase in value. Sometimes refractors also sell for a similar range than base and anytime you can get a refractor for the same price invest in the refractor over the base version. Mercado is one of the more under the radar players heading into the start of the 2020 season and could make a big jump this year and surprise a lot of people.

49 – 2016 Bowman Chrome Mauricio Dubon Rookie Auto

Dubon was traded to the San Francisco Giants last season and is projected to be their starting second baseman this year in 2020. He is just 25 years old and a prospect that is flying under the radar heading into the start of 2020. Dubon Chrome Auto is a great buy low with a lot of sneaky good upside, as ungraded examples should see a 80-100 percent increase in value. High-grade examples are a lot more sought after so I would recommend just investing in ungraded Bowman Chrome Autos of Dubon.

50 – 2015 Bowman Chrome Mike Yastrzemski Rookie Auto

 Yastrzemski debuted as a rookie last year with the San Francisco Giants. He would hit 21 homeruns in 107 games played. Yastrzemski’s grandfather is Hall of Famer Red Sox Hall of Famer Carl Yastrzemski. I think for that reason alone will cause the value of Mike Yastrzemski Bowman Chrome Auto to increase in value. Yastrzemski’s Bowman Chrome Auto should see a 60-80 percent increase in value this season on ungraded examples.
