This 1909-11 T206 Charley Carr has been graded SGC 4 VGEX and carries a Piedmont back. The T206 "White Border" set, distributed by the American Tobacco Company, is one of the most celebrated pre-war issues in the hobby. At SGC 4 VGEX, it offers above-average presentation for a tobacco card of this age, with a clean image and wear limited mostly to the corners.
Charley Carr is part of the deep roster of Deadball Era players featured in T206, alongside stars like Honus Wagner, Ty Cobb, and Christy Mathewson. Collectors chasing the complete set need every subject, which makes cards of players like Carr key to any complete run.
