This 1909-11 T206 Dots Miller has been graded SGC 4 VGEX and carries a Piedmont back. The T206 "White Border" set, distributed by the American Tobacco Company, is one of the most celebrated pre-war issues in the hobby. At SGC 4 VGEX, it offers above-average presentation for a tobacco card of this age, with a clean image and wear limited mostly to the corners. The front features lithographed artwork framed by the set's signature white border.
John "Dots" Miller broke in with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1909, starting at second base next to Honus Wagner as a rookie and winning the World Series that fall. He later played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Philadelphia Phillies.
