This 1909-11 T206 Dick Hoblitzell has been graded SGC 1 PR and carries a Piedmont back. The T206 "White Border" set, distributed by the American Tobacco Company, is one of the most celebrated pre-war issues in the hobby. At SGC 1 PR, it shows the honest wear expected of a card that circulated more than a century ago, while the original front image remains intact for set builders working toward completion. The front features lithographed artwork framed by the set's signature white border.
Dick Hoblitzell was a first baseman who began his career with the Cincinnati Reds before joining the Boston Red Sox, where he won World Series championships in 1915 and 1916.
