This 1909-11 T206 Doc Casey has been graded SGC 2 GD and carries a Piedmont back. Distributed in cigarette packs between 1909 and 1911, the T206 "White Border" set remains one of the cornerstones of vintage baseball collecting. The SGC 2 GD grade reflects honest wear from more than a century in circulation, with the image still presenting clearly for vintage set builders. The front features lithographed artwork framed by the set's signature white border.
Doc Casey played during the Deadball Era, when tobacco cards like T206 brought ballplayers into the homes of fans across the country. Cards of lesser-known subjects such as Casey are key pieces for anyone working toward a complete T206 set.
