This 1909-11 T206 Simon Nichols Batting with its Piedmont back has been graded SGC 4 VGEX. Known among collectors as The Monster, the T206 tobacco set features more than 500 cards and remains the most celebrated pre-war baseball issue. This survivor from the dead-ball era is a solid addition for set builders and anyone collecting original early twentieth-century baseball cardboard. The SGC holder protects the card and makes it simple to display.
Simon Nichols was an infielder for the Philadelphia Athletics during the dead-ball era, playing for Connie Mack during the early years of the club's rise. His card is part of the deep Athletics representation in the set.
