Nate “Tiny” Archibald starred at UTEP before the Cincinnati Royals selected him in the 1970 NBA Draft. In 1972-73 he became the only player to lead the league in both scoring and assists in the same season, earned six All-Star selections, and won the 1981 championship with the Boston Celtics. Archibald is a Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame (HOF) inductee (1991).
