This 1981 Topps Magic Johnson Super Action #109 has earned an SGC 6.5 EX-MT+ grade. This second-year card from the early Showtime era is one of Magic’s key vintage cards, a strong piece for Lakers collectors.
Magic Johnson led Michigan State to the 1979 NCAA title before the Los Angeles Lakers selected him 1st overall in the 1979 NBA Draft. He spent his entire career with the Lakers, winning five NBA championships, three MVP awards, three Finals MVPs, and 12 All-Star selections, and won Olympic gold with the 1992 Dream Team.
