This 1969 Topps Fran Tarkenton #150 has earned an SGC 6 EX-MT grade. This vintage card comes from Tarkenton’s New York Giants years between his two stints in Minnesota, a strong piece for collectors of the Hall of Fame quarterback and one of football’s original scramblers.
Fran Tarkenton starred at Georgia before the Minnesota Vikings selected him in the 1961 NFL Draft. A pioneering scrambling quarterback, he played for the Vikings and New York Giants, led Minnesota to three Super Bowls, won the 1975 NFL MVP, and earned nine Pro Bowl selections. Tarkenton is a Pro Football Hall of Fame (HOF) inductee (1986).
