This 1986 Star Michael Jordan Rookie #3 is graded BGS 9.5 Gem Mint. Star Company cards predate Jordan's 1986 Fleer issue and were produced in limited quantities, often sealed in team bags, making Gem Mint examples a cornerstone for serious Jordan collectors who want his earliest professional cardboard.
Michael Jordan helped North Carolina win the 1982 NCAA title before the Chicago Bulls drafted him 3rd overall in 1984. With the Bulls he won six NBA championships, six Finals MVPs, five MVP awards, and ten scoring titles, earning 14 All-Star selections before finishing with the Washington Wizards. Jordan is a Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame (HOF) inductee (2009).
