This 1991 Nike Michael Jordan and Spike Lee #5 promotional card has earned an SGC 9 Mint grade. These Nike promo cards are classic Jordan oddballs, distributed outside standard packs, and high-grade examples have become increasingly popular with collectors of Jordan’s sneaker-culture legacy.
Michael Jordan won six NBA championships and five MVP awards with the Chicago Bulls and is a Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame (HOF) inductee (2009). His Nike partnership with filmmaker Spike Lee, who played Mars Blackmon in the famous Air Jordan commercials, helped turn the Jordan brand into a cultural phenomenon, and these promotional cards capture that era.
