This 1993 SP Foil Derek Jeter Rookie #279 is graded BGS 8 NM-MT. Jeter's SP rookie is recognized as his most important card, and the fragile foil design means even mid-grade copies require careful handling to survive. This NM-MT example is an accessible way to own the defining Jeter rookie.
Derek Jeter was drafted 6th overall by the New York Yankees in 1992 out of Kalamazoo Central High School. He spent all 20 seasons in pinstripes, winning five World Series titles, the 1996 AL Rookie of the Year, and the 2000 World Series MVP, with 14 All-Star selections and 3,465 hits. Jeter is a National Baseball Hall of Fame (HOF) inductee (2020).
