BGS subgrades: Centering 9 · Corners 9.5 · Edges 9.5 · Surface 9.5
This 2003 Sports Illustrated For Kids LeBron James Rookie #264 has earned a BGS 9.5 Gem Mint grade. Distributed in the pages of SI For Kids magazine, these perforated cards were often handled or cut by young readers, and this Gem Mint example of a LeBron rookie-year issue is a fun addition for LeBron collectors.
LeBron James jumped straight from St. Vincent-St. Mary High School to the NBA as the 1st overall pick of the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2003. Across stints with the Cavaliers, Miami Heat, and Los Angeles Lakers he has won four NBA championships, four MVP awards, and four Finals MVPs, and he became the league's all-time leading scorer. He is on a clear Hall of Fame (HOF) trajectory.
