This 1955 Bowman Enos Slaughter #60 has been graded PSA 6 EX-MT, a strong mid-grade example from Bowman's popular color television-style design. The 1955 Bowman set is a classic of the early 1950s, and cards of Hall of Fame outfielders like Slaughter remain staples for vintage baseball collectors and set builders.
Enos "Country" Slaughter spent most of his career with the St. Louis Cardinals, winning the 1942 and 1946 World Series and scoring the famous "Mad Dash" winning run in 1946. He later played for the New York Yankees, Kansas City Athletics, and Milwaukee Braves, earned 10 All-Star selections, and is a National Baseball Hall of Fame (HOF) inductee (1985).
