This 1955 Topps Sandy Koufax Rookie #123 is graded PSA 7.5 NM+. Koufax's only true rookie card is a centerpiece of 1950s Topps, and its colorful horizontal design is prone to centering and edge issues, so this NM+ example offers strong eye appeal for vintage Dodgers collectors. Demand for this card is at an all-time high: a PSA 9 example sold for a record $604,736 at Memory Lane's 2026 Summer Rarities auction.
Sandy Koufax signed with his hometown Brooklyn Dodgers and pitched his entire career for the Dodgers in Brooklyn and Los Angeles. He won three Cy Young Awards, the 1963 NL MVP, and two World Series MVP awards (1963, 1965), and threw four no-hitters, including a 1965 perfect game. Koufax is a National Baseball Hall of Fame (HOF) inductee (1972). Over his career, he went 165-87 with a 2.76 ERA and 2,396 strikeouts.
