This 1993 Topps Derek Jeter Rookie #98 has earned a BGS 9.5 Gem Mint grade. Jeter’s 1993 rookies are among the most important baseball cards of the 1990s, and a gem mint flagship Topps rookie is a strong pickup for Yankees collectors.
Derek Jeter starred at Kalamazoo Central High School before the New York Yankees selected him 6th overall in the 1992 MLB Draft. He spent his entire 20-season career in New York, winning five World Series titles, the 1996 AL Rookie of the Year, the 2000 World Series MVP, and 14 All-Star selections with 3,465 career hits. Jeter is a National Baseball Hall of Fame (HOF) inductee (2020).
